Al-Ettifaq welcomed PFC Pakhtakor (Uzbekistan) in the last 16 knock-out stage of the AFC Champions League.
Prince Tagoe scored the opening goal in the first half but we did not make more of the other chances we created. In addition the forward movement was slow at times.
Pakhtakor equalised in the 79th minute after lots of pressure and their winning goal came from a well taken free-kick and was scored by Alexander Geynrikh in the 90th minute! The free kick was needlessly given away in my opinion.
