Pictures from the Speed Weekend held this weekend (2-3/12/2010) at the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC).
Speed Weekend, organised for the first time last year by Bahrain International Circuit, will be held over four rounds this year and next. It will be hosted by world-class tracks in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Qatar.
Speed Weekend aims to give top regional drivers the opportunity to race in professionally run series at the different circuit across the Gulf. It focuses on local championships to further promote motorsport in the region, and allow the Middle East’s best talents to flourish.
Bahrain’s event will be the first of the new campaign, and it is set to be headlined by the round one of the 2010/2011 WGA Chevrolet Supercars Middle East Championship.
